Cherishing Precious Moments: A Homeschooling Mum's Reflections
Share
This weekend, we celebrated our daughter's 6th birthday, and it was an absolute joy! Baking her favorite cake - grab our printable cake toppers I made, heading to the movies and spending intentional family time—it was just how we love to spend birthdays. When these days roll around it reminds me how special and fleeting this time is. They grow up so fast, don't they? It’s sounds so cliche but far out it’s true! She was LITERALLY just a baby!
As homeschooling mums, we get to cherish these precious moments in a way that other families may not. We're there for every milestone, every giggle, every tantrum (yes, those too!). It's a privilege and a responsibility, but one that brings us closer together as a family.
That's not to say it's always easy. Juggling different attention spans, nap times, and sibling squabbles can be challenging. But when we pause and soak in those sweet moments—like blowing out birthday candles—it makes it all worthwhile.
So, mamas, let's cherish these times. They may be chaotic, but they're also beautiful. Our little ones won't be little forever, but the memories we make will last a lifetime.
